At the BioParc many of the species of wildlife of the Gaspe Penisula can be seen living in five ecosystems, bay, tundra, lagoon, forest and river. |

Shannon's favorite--by far-- was the opportunity to hang out with Meeko, a baby raccoon who, along with her twin brother, had been abandoned by their mother. The park guide, Lydia, was very friendly and before we left Shannon told her, "I love you"!! She also pet a moose calf, fed trout in a fish pond and watched as a mountain lion devoured fish for dinner about two feet away from us. |
